Dear Members,

Happy 2010!  It is hard to believe that we are 10 years into the millennium!  When I look back on the last ten years of TAHRA history, a lot has changed!

We have increased our membership by 200 members, each of our meetings is HRCI certified, we have re-done the website (more than once!), our meeting location is the same (remember when it moved every month?) and we have added THRAC and the Diversity Conference and an auction.

With all of these changes, some things still stay the same, chapter leadership continues to be strong-we have a great volunteer base, we continue to offer meetings with high level speakers, the opportunity to network at each and every meeting, social events, strive to achieve the Superior Merit award and recognition from SHRM.

This year is no different!  We have a great line up of speakers touching on many topics that are important to you-leadership, benefits, rewards and recognition, recruiting, weathering HR storms.  We will be returning to the Mud Hens, where we will recognize past presidents and award scholarships to students.   So while things change, many continue to stay the same!

I look forward to a great 2010 and seeing you at the monthly meetings!
