TAHRA — FAQs

Q: How can I find the meeting information once it has been removed from Event Registration?

A: Click on TAHRA Calendar on the left side menu. This will provide you with the location and time of the meeting.

Q: How can I sponsor an event?

A: Resource Partner information can be found by clicking Resource Partners on the left side menu.

Q: Can I attend a meeting or other event without being a member?

A: Absolutely! Click on Event Registration on the left side menu. You can register as a non-member on the TAHRA Events Page

Q: Why is my credit card declined when I register for an event?

A: It is most commonly because the billing address for the card does not match the address you entered on the website. If you use your company’s credit card, you will need the company’s billing address. If you use your own personal credit card, you will need the billing address where you receive your personal credit card statement (usually your home address, but could also be a P.O. Box). Q: How can I become involved in TAHRA?

A: There are many opportunities in which to get involved. Several committees need assistance to plan and carry out events (e.g., Student Relations is always looking for speakers to assist the student SHRM Chapters, HRCI needs facilitators for study groups, Community Service uses volunteers to assist with the selected non-profit agency, Social uses a lot of volunteers for the Golf Outing and Silent Auction).
